Hyderabad, March 20 -- The Telangana Budget presented by deputy chief minister and finance minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu has been estimated at Rs 3,24,234 crore, with revenue expenditure pegged at Rs 2,34,406 crore and capital expenditure at Rs 47,267 crore. The per capita income stands at Rs 4,18,931, reflecting a growth rate of 10.2 percent.
Significant allocations have been made towards welfare and essential sectors. Farmers' welfare has been allotted Rs 23,179 crore, civil supplies Rs 7,366 crore, and animal husbandry Rs 1,529 crore. The power sector has received Rs 21,285 crore, education Rs 26,674 crore, and healthcare Rs 13,679 crore.
