Hyderabad, Oct. 22 -- Amid controversies surrounding Radial Road 2 tenders floated by Hyderabad Growth Corridor Limited (HGCL), the Telangana government entrusted the southern part of Regional Ring Road (RRR) to HGCL as well, Telangana Today reported.

Congress MLA K Rajgopal Reddy had alleged that his family's company had been discouraged from bidding for the Radial Road tender. The final allocation of the tenders had costed the state exchequer a loss of Rs 600 crore, a different construction company had alleged.

HGCL was entrusted with RRR's Southern part since the organisation is involved in land acquisition for Future City, a senior official from Roads and Buildings department was quoted as saying by Telangana Today.
