Telangana: Four-year-old attacked by stray dog while playing in Nalgonda
Hyderabad, April 3 -- A four-year-old boy was attacked by a stray dog while playing on a street in Nalgonda district's Nakirekal town on Friday, April 3, sustaining serious injuries on his face.
The boy, identified as Sharathchandra, reportedly fell unconscious after the attack and was rushed to a private hospital by his grandparents.
After first aid, the boy was shifted to Niloufer Hospital in Hyderabad.
Attacks on the rise
The stray dog menace in Telangana is on the rise, with frequent reports of children being injured.
Just last week, a three-year-old boy lost his eye in a stray dog attack in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri on March 26. The boy, Riyan, was attacked by a couple of stray dogs in Tarakaram Nagar of Bhuvanagiri town.
