Hyderabad, Sept. 29 -- The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has approached the court seeking impounding of the passports of former minister and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president KT Rama Rao and three other accused in the Formula E case.

According ot local reports, this could prevent the four accused, including KTR, IAS officer Arvind Kumar, former Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) chief engineer BLN Reddy and former sports consultant Govenda Kiran Malleswara Rao from travelling abroad.

Since the fifth accused in the case are officials of Formula E and foreign nationals, local authorities do not have the power to impound their passports.
