Sharjah, Sept. 2 -- Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has ordered that Sudanese pupils at Sudan Private School be exempted from all fees, with parents to be refunded any amounts already collected.

The directive was issued on Tuesday, September 1, after concerns were raised that families had been asked to pay charges despite the school having been established to provide free education for members of Sharjah's Sudanese community facing financial difficulties.
