Hyderabad, April 3 -- The Supreme Court on Thursday, April 2, upheld the ruling of the Telangana High Court and rejected a batch of petitions challenging the recruitment of 563 candidates by the Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) for Group 1 jobs.

The petitions were filed by P Adhitya and others challenging the appointment of candidates by the TGPSC. In it's judgement, the two judge bench comprising justices Vikram Nath and  Sandeep Mehta said, "We are not inclined to interfere with the impugned judgment(s) and order(s) passed by the High Court. The Special Leave Petition(s) are, accordingly, dismissed"

The Supreme Court found no merit in the petition challenging the Telangana High Court's decision.
