Hyderabad, March 20 -- Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka has announced the sanction of Rs 594 crore for the expansion of five major road corridors in Khammam district. The project will cover a total stretch of 100.82 kilometres and will be implemented under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM).

Strengthening regional connectivity

The proposed road expansion aims to improve connectivity between rural and urban areas while easing traffic congestion across the district. Officials stated that the upgraded roads will enhance access to major highways, particularly strengthening links with the Hyderabad-Vijayawada National Highway.
