Hyderabad, Oct. 25 -- An intoxicated Rapido bike taxi driver allegedly bit a traffic constable's finger during a drink-and-drive inspection in the Chandrayangutta police jurisdiction.

According to Chandrayangutta Station House Officer R Ravinder, the incident occurred on Friday night, October 23, near the chowrasta. The inebriated man, identified as Azeez, reportedly created a ruckus when traffic police personnel asked him to take a breathalyser test. He refused to go through with the check and attempted to flee the scene.

"When told to blow into the breathalyser during the check, he refused," SHO Ravinder told Siasat.com.
