New Delhi, Aug. 17 -- Almost a fortnight after reports of quitting the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Shehzad Poonawalla resigned from all positions as well as his primary membership through a letter to party chief Nitin Nabin on Monday, August 17.

Sharing the letter on his X account, he wrote: "With utmost humility, sense of affection & gratitude, I have once again submitted my resignation letter to Shri Nitin Nabin ji & have requested that the same be accepted."
