Hyderabad, May 17 -- The Charminar police have registered a case over social media posts claiming that Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay tried to "influence" Justice Tangirala Madhavi Devi for granting anticipatory bail to his son Bandi Bageerath in the POCSO case against him.

According to the complaint submitted by the Telangana High Court Registrar, BS Chiranjeevi, the alleged social media posts stated that Bandi Sanjay, in an attempt to influence the senior vacation judge, Justice Madhavi Devi, promised to get her husband appointed as the Chairman of the Bar Council of Telangana.
