Hyderabad, Aug. 23 -- Ahead of the indefinite auto strike from Monday, August 24, worried parents in Hyderabad have demanded a holiday from schools, as the three-wheelers are one of the major modes of commute.

Speaking to Siasat.com, a parent of a Grade IV student, Ayesha, said it would be very difficult for her child to attend school amid the strike.

Another parent, who wished to remain anonymous, said that though the commute will be difficult, it is unavoidable as Formative Assessment (FA) 2 is ongoing in schools in Hyderabad.
