Hyderabad, Oct. 29 -- To curb misuse, the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) on Thursday, October 29, launched the PAANI mobile app (click here to install).

How to register in PAANI app

Citizens can now register as Save Water Volunteers and report drinking water wastage and misuse in their neighbourhoods. Interested can register through the HMWSSB website by submitting a government-recognised ID document.

After registration, volunteers can download the PAANI app from the Google Play Store and submit complaints about water misuse.

Complainant's identity confidential

The identity of the complainant will be kept confidential. Each complaint will undergo SMS-based verification.
