Hyderabad, Nov. 6 -- The Future City Commissionerate Special Operations Team (SOT) of Maheshwaram busted an adulterated milk manufacturing unit at Pocharam on Thursday, November 5 and arrested a 43-year-old man.

The accused, identified as Ande Srisailam, was allegedly manufacturing adulterated milk by mixing hydrogen peroxide and Dholpur milk powder. The adulterated milk was being supplied to consumers in Hyderabad, the police said.

Acting on information, the Maheshwaram SOT police raided the unit and seized 100 litres of adulterated milk, one litre of hydrogen peroxide and 35 packets of Dholpur milk powder, each weighing one kg.
