Hyderabad, Oct. 30 -- A lizard was found crawling in a curry utensil at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University's (JNTU) Manjeera Boys Hostel on Thursday, October 29, sparking hygiene concerns.

The college has defended itself saying that the video was taken after all the students were served and the utensil was dropped off to the wash area.

"The mess hours are from 7.30 pm to 9 pm. Some students went to the washing area after these hours and filmed the video. This was after all the students were served and the utensils were sent for washing," JNTU Public Relations Officer (PRO), Shravan G, told Siasat.com.
