Hyderabad, Aug. 21 -- Telangana Endowments Minister Konda Surekha has written to the TPCC Disciplinary Committee, clarifying that remarks made by her daughter Sushmita Patel were entirely her daughter's personal views and not the minister's own.

In her letter, sent on Thursday, August 20, Konda Surekha said it would not be appropriate to hold her politically responsible for her daughter's personal opinions merely because of their relationship. She argued that doing so would go against the spirit of natural justice.
