Bengaluru, Oct. 23 -- The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Karnataka has reached its final stage, with the deadline for filing objections ending on October 22. The final electoral roll is scheduled to be published on October 27, the State Election Commission has announced.

According to the Commission's press release, notices were issued to voters as part of the verification process. The authorities reported that the hearing process for all distributed notices was completed across the state, with no pending cases remaining.

Between June 16 and October 22, a total of 25,87,461 applications were received under various categories relating to electoral registration and corrections.
