Hyderabad, Oct. 24 -- A video showing a Donald Trump impersonator behind bars on a Tehran billboard has gone viral, as Iran used the display to criticise Washington over a deadly strike on a wedding in southern Iran.

The installation above Tajrish Square in northern Tehran featured an actor wearing a mask resembling the US president, a dark suit and a red tie. The mock prison cell contained a bed, toilet and sink, with the performer seen pacing inside and gripping the bars.

An electronic screen behind the cage displayed images related to the strike on a home in Kuhestak, in Sirik county of Hormozgan province, where a wedding was taking place. The billboard carried the English slogan, "It is a crime not to see this scene".
