Hyderabad, Oct. 24 -- Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) Commissioner A V Ranganath on Saturday, October 24, inaugurated the expansion work for the lake within Krishna Kanth Park in the Jubilee Hills constituency.

The Commissioner initiated the development project after performing special prayers. Previously, a 27-acre lake existed at this site. However, over time, the area was developed into the current-day park, with the lake being reduced to merely three acres.

As a result, areas such as Krishnanagar, Yousufguda, and the Maitrivanam vicinity in Ameerpet get flooded whenever there is 5 cm of rainfall.
