Hyderabad, June 22 -- The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) Prajavani was conducted on Monday, June, where 47 complaints related to rains and flooding were received.

HYDRAA Commissioner AV Ranganath listened to the complaints of citizens ranging from encroachment, rainwater mixing with sewage drains, blocked drains and flooded roads.

Residents in Miyapur raised questions over the agency's plan to construct the 2,400-metre-wide flood drains being built along the six-lane road linking the Gandi Maisamma to be connected to 200-metre pipes in Pragathi Nagar. They stated this could lead to serious flooding on heavy rain days.
