Hyderabad, June 7 -- A late-night operation carried out by Kukatpally Deputy Commissioner Ritiraj and KPHB police at Kings and Queens (Club Masti) Pub on the intervening night of June 6-7 allegedly revealed a prostitution racket and resulted in the arrests of nine staff members.

According to the police, the establishment was using women to attract male customers and generate inflated bills while also facilitating prostitution.

Apart from this, the pub was operating beyond permitted timings, serving food and liquor in violation of government permissions and had no measures in place to prevent the entry of minors. The establishment also reportedly lacked a valid No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the police.
