Hyderabad: Illegal firearms seized from labourer in Bollaram
Hyderabad, Aug. 23 -- An interstate criminal was arrested at Sadana Mandir in Bollaram, and two 9mm pistols, one double-barreled pistol, three magazines and 19 live rounds were seized from him, police said on Saturday, August 22.
The accused has been identified as 27-year-old labourer Parbhans Kumar, a native of Uttar Pradesh. He was allegedly trying to sell firearms to criminals in Hyderabad, The Hindu reported.
Kumar is reportedly a class five dropout and worked as an agricultural labourer and lorry cleaner in the past. In 2021, he became addicted to marijuana and turned to drug peddling to make extra money.
