Hyderabad, Sept. 5 -- A stretch of Hussaini Kothi Road collapsed after the stormwater drain running beneath it gave way, exposing the drain and prompting local MLAs and Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) officials to inspect the site on Saturday, September 5.

The cave-in has left a section of the road unusable, raising concerns over commuter safety in the area. Officials are assessing the extent of the damage to the drainage line and the road structure before restoration work begins.
