Hyderabad, Oct. 23 -- Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav has written to Telangana Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar about his "Steel Bank" initiative, under which villages in Husnabad constituency get stainless steel utensils to use instead of single-use plastic at weddings and other community functions.

Prabhakar, who represents Husnabad in the Assembly, posted the letter on X on Friday, October 23, thanking Yadav for recognising and appreciating the effort.
