GHMC joins hands with IIT Kharagpur, AIIMS for water quality monitoring
Hyderabad, May 14 -- The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) on Thursday, May 14, announced that it has signed an MoU with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur and the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi to launch one of India's most technologically advanced water quality monitoring initiatives.
The project, which is expected to commence in the third quarter of this year, will establish a next-generation water surveillance and early-warning system for Hyderabad, stated a release.
