Dubai, Sept. 14 -- Travellers can now obtain an International Driving Permit (IDP) in just five minutes at Dubai International Airport, the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs - Dubai (GDRFA Dubai) announced on Monday, September 14.

The new service has been launched in cooperation with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), the Emirates Automobile and Touring Club and the Amer Centre.

Available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the service is offered at the Customer Happiness Centre in the Terminal 3 arrivals area of Dubai International Airport. It is open to UAE citizens and residents holding a valid UAE driving licence.
