Hyderabad, Oct. 31 -- The Telangana EAGLE Force, in coordination with Kodad Town Police, arrested two alleged interstate ganja transporters and seized 150 kg of ganja worth Rs 75 lakh at Kodad in Suryapet district on Saturday, October 31.

Acting on specific information, the joint team intercepted a Honda City car near Kakatiya Seva Samithi on Kodad Highway and found 62 packets containing the contraband. The ganja was allegedly being transported from Odisha to Karnataka.

The arrested persons were identified as Selva Surya (26), a resident of Hanur taluk, and Raja Gownder Murugan (42), a resident of Kollegala, both in the Chamarajanagar district of Karnataka.
