Displaced farmers get bigger house plots as part of Kakatiya textile park rehab
Warangal, April 2 -- House site registration documents were distributed to farmers displaced by the Kakatiya Mega Textile Park (KMTP) in Warangal on Wednesday, April 1, with the state government also announcing that plot sizes allotted to oustees had been enhanced from 50 to 75 square yards following a ministerial intervention.
Parkal MLA Revuri Prakash Reddy, District Collector Satya Sharada and Kakatiya Urban Development Authority chairman Enagala Venkatram Reddy handed over the documents to displaced farmers of Sangem village at a function held in Geesukonda mandal.
The plots have been allotted at the Rajiv Gandhi Township as part of the rehabilitation package for those affected by the project.
