New Delhi, April 3 -- Two miscreants were detained on Thursday, April 2, after they were seen climbing a wall along a mosque and waving a saffron flag during a Hanuman Jayanti procession on Wednesday, April 1, in Delhi's Tughlakabad area.
A Shobha Yatra associated with Hanuman Jayanti was passing through the locality at around 1:30 pm when the incident took place.
According to local media, the two men climbed onto the shed of the mosque's wazu khana or the ablution area and waved the flag, triggering unease among residents.
