Cyberabad police seize 100 tonnes of chicken waste in raids
Hyderabad, Aug. 24 -- The Cyberabad police and veterinary officials seized 100 tons of chicken waste during raids across the commissionerate on Monday, August 24.
According to the police, the accused sold the chicken waste to fish pond owners in Andhra Pradesh. Veterinary officials warned that consuming fish fed with chicken waste could cause cancer. The police inspected lorries that contained the waste and were preparing to dump the same in places, including Attapur, Miyapur, Aminpur, Kukatpally, Jeedimetla, and Chintal.
A video shared on social media shows the police and veterinary teams checking the trucks and seizing the chicken waste.
