Hyderabad, June 22 -- Launching a scathing attack on the state government, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president KT Rama Rao (KTR) said that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has signed a 'death warrant' for the Telangana farmers by deciding to procure paddy within the limits prescribed by the Centre.

"Earlier, Revanth Reddy questioned whether the previous government was acting as a broker for Prime Minister Narendra Modi whenever it followed the Centre's directives. Today, he is doing exactly the same by saying that the state will procure only the quantity approved by the Centre," KTR said at a constituency-level party workers' meeting in Wardhannapet, Warangal, on Monday, June 22.
