CJP protests: Gau rakshak claims Delhi Minister helped avoid jail
Delhi, Sept. 3 -- Self-proclaimed cow vigilante or gau rakshak, Swatantra Bhardwaj proudly claimed that he was roaming freely during the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protests, even after attempting murder, as Delhi Police released him following a call from Minister Kapil Mishra.
During the protests on July 20, Bhardwaj brutally assaulted the father of CJP protester Neetu, leaving the Dalit man near death.
"Neetu ke sar ka ham sar phaade. aapko pata hai isme kose haap lagta hai? Half murder - 307 (We cracked Neetu's head open. Do you know what charge applies to this? Attempted murder-Section 307)," Bhardwaj told podcast host Neha Singh Rathore.
