Charles Schwab opens technology capability centre in Hyderabad
Hyderabad, Aug. 19 -- Charles Schwab, the US-based financial services major, made its India debut with Schwab India, a technology capability centre in Hyderabad, on Wednesday, August 19.
The 345,000 sq ft technology capability centre will support Charles Schwab's US business. The Hyderabad workforce will be about 2,000 employees by the end of 2027, performing select technology work in-house, according to the Times of India.
The facility was inaugurated by Telangana IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu along with Charles Schwab leaders, including Christopher Wyse, managing director and chief corporate affairs officer.
