Hyderabad, Aug. 22 -- A Sub-Inspector and Constable attached to the Chandanagar Police Station, Hyderabad, were arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Saturday, August 22, for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 75,000.

SI Bandela Balraj and Constable B Raghavendra demanded the money to file a chargesheet for an ongoing criminal case.

The SI had already received Rs 20,000 in cash while Constable Raghavendra got Rs 10,000, ACB officials said.

They were produced before the ACB court and sent to judicial remand.
