Hyderabad, April 4 -- The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) scored well in the municipal polls in Telangana on Saturday, April 4, securing the position of chairman in Ibrahimpatnam Municipality and taking charge of Kyathanpally Municipality in alliance with the CPI.
T Sudershan Reddy, who is a councillor of BRS, won the election to become chairman of Ibrahimpatnam Municipality, while Muthyala Shyamala Bhaskar of BJP got elected as the vice-chairman. The voting exercise took place in municipal council office, which saw active participation from BRS, BJP, and Congress councillors.
