Hyderabad, Oct. 23 -- Telangana Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president N Ramchander Rao on Friday, October 23, performed an offering to "defeat evil forces," which he said were plotting regime change in the country.

These forces, Rao said, were seeking to harm India by not only wanting a regime change but also attempting to destabilise it through anarchy and unrest.

"A Yagna for the well-being of our nation and the defeat of evil forces seeking to harm our motherland by plotting regime change and attempting to destabilise through anarchy and unrest," he wrote on X.
