Mumbai, Nov. 4 -- Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor has announced that she and her husband, businessman Gautam Hathiramani, are going their separate ways after four years of marriage. The 'Baby Doll' singer shared the news on Instagram Stories in a personal note addressed to her friends and family.

"After much thought and consideration, my husband and I are going our separate ways," Kanika wrote. "I am grateful for the time we shared and wish him well for the future."

Kanika kept the reason for their separation private. She closed the note with a request for those reading it. "I sincerely ask for kindness and respect for our privacy as we move forward."
