At least 12 people killed, 309 injured in Riyadh airport attack
Riyadh, Oct. 11 -- At least 12 people were killed and 309 injured after Houthi fighters struck King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh with a ballistic missile on Saturday, October 10.
Saudi Arabia's General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), in a statement on X on Sunday, October 11, confirmed the casualties. It said the fatalities included four Saudi citizens and eight foreign nationals - two Bangladeshis and one each from the United States, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Palestine and Sudan.
Several injured people remain in critical condition and are receiving treatment at hospitals, while authorities assess the damage to airport property.
