Bhopal, Oct. 26 -- A Science Olympiad was held for the first time across various cities in Madhya Pradesh, drawing over 2,000 students from grades 6, 7, and 8. Students from different districts across the state took part in this competition on Sunday, October 26.

The Science Olympiad was organised under the aegis of the Children's Islamic Organization (CIO).

The objective of the Olympiad is to foster an interest in science among children.

The Olympiad question papers were tailored to the students' respective grade levels. The papers for grades 7 and 8 were based on the NCERT science curriculum; those for grade 6 also incorporated environmental science.
