Bengaluru, Nov. 2 -- Andhra Pradesh Information Technology and Education Minister Nara Lokesh visited Manipal Hospital in Bengaluru on Sunday to enquire about the health of a schoolgirl who was critically injured in a brutal attack inside her classroom at a government high school in Raptadu, Anantapur district.

After interacting with the medical team treating the girl in the intensive care unit, Lokesh said her condition remained critical and the next 24 hours would be crucial. Describing her as a daughter of the state, he said doctors were making every effort to save her life and appealed to people to pray for her recovery.
