Hyderabad, June 23 -- The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday, June 23, carried out searches at multiple locations linked to Excise Superintendent Malla Reddy after registering a case of alleged disproportionate assets against him.

According to sources, ACB teams simultaneously raided the official's residence at Alwal in Hyderabad and several other properties reportedly belonging to his relatives, friends and suspected benamis. Searches were also conducted at his office in Nizamabad as part of the investigation.

Officials are scrutinising documents, financial records, property papers, bank transactions and other materials to ascertain whether the assets held by the officer are disproportionate to his known sources of income.
