Hyderabad, May 1 -- The Telangana government is set to launch a dedicated app to connect consumers directly with certified organic farmers, as the state government looks to make genuine organic produce more accessible while giving a fillip to natural farming.

Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao will launch the "TG Organics" app on May 4 at Tandur in Vikarabad district. The platform lists over 500 farmers certified by the Telangana Organic Certification Authority, and features more than a hundred products, including vegetables, fruits and food grains, available for direct purchase.
