India, Oct. 24 -- The Viksit Bharat-Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin), known as VB-G RAM G, has reported progress across employment generation, rural asset creation and women's participation in 2026-27. According to an official statement issued on Saturday, the programme recorded 10.88 crore active workers and generated more than 31.69 crore person-days of employment, while women's participation reached 61.65%.

Employment was provided on demand to over 2.81 crore workers from around 2.23 crore rural households. Approximately 97.17 lakh workers are currently under execution, while nearly 2.31 lakh Gram Panchayats are implementing works across the country.
