India, Sept. 29 -- REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL), a wholly owned subsidiary of REC Limited, has handed over Balsane Power Transmission Limited, the project-specific Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), to successful bidder Resonia Limited. The handover took place on September 28, 2026, for development of an intra-state transmission project in Maharashtra.

Resonia Limited emerged as the successful bidder through the Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) process conducted by RECPDCL, which served as the Bid Process Coordinator. The project will be developed on a Build, Own, Operate and Transfer (BOOT) basis as part of Maharashtra's intra-state transmission network.
