India, Sept. 11 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday expressed confidence that the upcoming BRICS Summit in New Delhi will lead to positive and meaningful discussions on issues of global importance. He said leaders from across the world will gather in the national capital over the next few days, with the welfare of the world guiding their deliberations.

Sharing his message on X in Hindi, PM Modi said the high-level meeting would provide an opportunity for leaders to discuss various issues constructively. His remarks came ahead of the 18th BRICS Summit, which India is hosting as the BRICS Chair for 2026.
