India, May 6 -- Narendra Modi met To Lam in New Delhi for wide-ranging discussions aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and enhancing cooperation across sectors, as both countries mark a decade of their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

The visiting Vietnamese leader was accorded a ceremonial welcome at Rashtrapati Bhavan and later held delegation-level talks at Hyderabad House. He also paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at Raj Ghat.

During the visit, Droupadi Murmu and other senior leaders are scheduled to engage with the Vietnamese President. Earlier, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval held discussions with To Lam on expanding strategic cooperation.
