India, Aug. 3 -- The Centre has selected 47,328 villages under the PM-AJAY Adarsh Gram component, with 46,642 development works completed benefiting over 47.59 lakh people. The scheme focuses on the integrated socio-economic development of Scheduled Caste communities through convergence with Central and State government programmes.
