India, May 28 -- IL Green Energy Ltd. (OGEL), the renewable energy arm of Oil India Ltd., has signed a Joint Venture Agreement with Hindustan Waste Treatment Pvt. Ltd. (HWT) to develop bioenergy and sustainable waste management projects across India.

The partnership proposes the creation of a 50:50 joint venture company focused on compressed biogas (CBG), waste-to-energy and sustainable infrastructure projects, supporting India's clean energy transition and circular economy goals.
