India, Sept. 19 -- NTPC Kanti has allocated Rs1 crore under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative for the development of seven Chhath Ghats in and around its project area in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. The initiative is aimed at improving community infrastructure and providing safer and more convenient facilities for residents during Chhath Puja and other community activities.

The CSR allocation has been made for FY 2026-27, with the proposed works to be executed through the concerned department of the Government of Bihar under the Deposit Work Scheme.
