India, Oct. 12 -- NTPC Bongaigaon has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Mizoram State Sports Council (MSSC), Government of Mizoram, to establish an Archery Academy at Lengpui in Mamit district. Signed on October 8, 2026, the agreement forms part of NTPC's strategic Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives in Northeast India. The project carries a financial commitment of Rs13.28 crore (Rs1,328.11 lakh) and will be implemented over three years to develop dedicated archery training infrastructure and expand opportunities for aspiring athletes.
