India, April 20 -- Narendra Modi is set to dedicate the Pachpadra Refinery in Balotra to the nation on Tuesday, marking a major milestone in India's energy and industrial infrastructure expansion.

The refinery is expected to significantly enhance domestic refining capacity while catalysing the development of a downstream petrochemical ecosystem in the region. It will produce key feedstocks such as polypropylene, polyethylene (HDPE/LLDPE), benzene, toluene, and butadiene-enabling the growth of industries ranging from plastics and packaging to automotive components, textiles, and chemicals.
